Railway Group D 2025 Recruitment:  Group D recruitment drive is carried out by the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) to non- technical popular categories (NTPC) posts in Level 1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. This post contains all the necessary information on CEN No. 08/2024 recruitment such as exam, admit card and result etc.

Selection Process

The RRC Group D selection procedure includes the following stages:

  • Stage 1 -First Level Computer-Based Test (CBT-1): All eligible candidates are required to undergo CBT-1.
  • All shortlisted candidates on the merit list of CBT-1 will be eligible for the PET Test.
  • Document Verification & Medical Examination: Final check of documents and fitness test applicable.

Computer-Based Test (CBT-1) Details

The CBT-1 is important, as the score obtained herein will serve as a basis for shortlisting for further stages.

Exam Pattern

The test will have 100 Multiple Choice Questions(MCQ) of the objective type to be answered in a time span of 7$\text{90 minutes}$ (120 minutes for PwBD category candidates).

🎟️ Railway Group D  Exam Admit Card 2025

Admit Card (or Hall Ticket) is the necessary document to formal for Exam.

Release of City Intimation Slip

The Exam City Intimation Slip is released around 10 days before the exam date by RRBs. This slip is only issued to make candidates aware of their exam city, date, and shift timing for travelling purposes. It is NOT the Admit Card.

Admit Card Download

The official Admit Card of CBT-1 is usually issued 4 days before the exam date of candidate.

Procedure to Download the Admit Card:

  1. Explore the RRB-concerned website (rrbcdg.gov.in).
  2. Click on the CEN 08/2024 (Group D) Admit Card link.
  3. Fill your registration number and Date of birth/password.
  4. Verify and take a printout of the admit card.


🏃 Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

📋 Railway Group D Result 2025 

Timeline The result process for the RRC Group D exam held in September and October 2020, will start in February.

CBT-1 Result

  1. The CBT-1 result will be uploaded on the official RRB websites once the examination is conducted in all stages successfully.
  2. The result will be declared in the form of a merit list (PDF) with roll numbers of shortlisted candidates for PET.
  3. To check their scores, candidates will have to log in using their credentials on the result link given by the RRB.

Final Result Railway Group D Exam 2025

The final merit list will be prepared based on the performance in the CBT-1, subject to qualification in the PET, Document Verification, and Medical Examination.
